Soft GSM client

GSM/UMTS phones with UMA client can use WiFi to communicate with the MSC/HLR elements in
the network. The client just needs an IP connectivity to the GAN controller.
So the requirement for the traditional gsm Um interface is void in this scenario.

What would be your RF interface in that case ? Maybe phone ?
