It would be really interesting having access to some "SIMtrace beginner workshop" materials, in the case someone produced something for todays meeting or other meetings in the past. Unfortunately moving to Berlin will be something hard for me today :/ Regards and have fun! 2015-12-09 15:55 GMT+01:00 Harald Welte : > Hi all! > > This is the announcement for the re-incarnation of our bi-weekly > Osmocom Berlin Meeting. > > Dec 09, 8pm @ CCC Berlin, Marienstr. 11, 10117 Berlin > > There is no formal presentation this time, but > * there will be SIMtrace equipment in case somebody wants to play with > it there will be a sysmoBTS with OsmoBTS, OsmoPCU, OsmoNITB, OsmoSGSN > and OpenGGSN if somebody wants to play with it > * there will be Huawei Femtocells to play with > > The meeting is open to anyone interested in mobile communications. There is no formal material, I just mentioned that hardware is available if somebody wants to try. I always thought SIMtrace (at least for tracing) is very easy to use. Connect the hardware, start the simtrace program and wireshark, and look at traces. Feel free to share your difficulties here. -- - Harald Welte http://laforge.gnumonks.org/ ============================================================================ "Privacy in residential applications is a desirable marketing option."
