[osmocom-event-orga] GSM or other cellular networks at 33C3

This is merely a historical archive of years 2008-2021, before the migration to mailman3.

A maintained and still updated list archive can be found at https://lists.osmocom.org/hyperkitty/list/osmocom-event-orga@lists.osmocom.org/.

Hi,

I guess the voice call stuff is pretty well tested now and used in
prod for years ...
What about data ?

Of course that would depend on hw available, dual trx would be best for that.

Given I didn't expect it, I'm only getting to the venue on the 26th
(Day 0) at around 13h.

When I arrive I'm definitely up to help set things up if we're doing
this. Given experience from previous years, we're starting to get good
at setting up the BTS fairly quickly (if they didn't change the layout
too much). The trick is mostly to find the right CCC people to open
the right doors at the right time :p

Of course there is also all the prep work done before the congress, I
was never involved in that so no idea how much work it is and if there
is someone interested to do it.

How about blank (no print) ones ?

Do we have stats for re-used sim vs new ones from old congress ? I
suspect that many people don't bring them so without SIM, it might not
be worth it.

With 10 MHz I guess one doesn't exclude the other.
