Are you local or you plan to drive a car to the venue? These gear sounds very interesting for us: VSA Transmitter Tester 4 GHz DPO Oscilloscope 4 Ch, 500 MHz, 5 GS/s Lab Power Supply 20 V 5 A What is the model of "VSA Transmitter Tester" - is it E4406? And when do you plan to arrive and departure? That's the intention. And and attempt to keep the congress technical and the way "we" like it. -- An attempt with many unknowns. It may be the last congress I attend, but who knows in advance, before being able to judge on the changes? > Are you local or you plan to drive a car to the venue? Not from Hamburg, in which case I wouldn't have bothered to ask and just showed up with the stuff :-) But less than 200 km away. > These gear sounds very interesting for us: Alright, will bring (at least) > VSA Transmitter Tester 4 GHz HP E4406A > DPO Oscilloscope 4 Ch, 500 MHz, 5 GS/s Tek TDS7054 > Lab Power Supply 20 V 5 A HP 6632B > What is the model of "VSA Transmitter Tester" - is it E4406? Yes, same as was available last year. But it only has options BAH and 202, not sure how useful that is for specialized measurements on modern stuff. > And when do you plan to arrive and departure? Arrival on 26th around noon and leaving after teardown. For me Congress was much more about people than about a program. >> Are you local or you plan to drive a car to the venue? > > Not from Hamburg, in which case I wouldn't have bothered to ask and > just showed up with the stuff :-) But less than 200 km away. > >> These gear sounds very interesting for us: > > Alright, will bring (at least) > >> VSA Transmitter Tester 4 GHz > HP E4406A > >> DPO Oscilloscope 4 Ch, 500 MHz, 5 GS/s > Tek TDS7054 > >> Lab Power Supply 20 V 5 A > HP 6632B Thanks a lot! That's exactly what we need - we may need to check our GSM equipment. >> And when do you plan to arrive and departure? > Arrival on 26th around noon and leaving after teardown. Great. Message-ID: <20121221231645.GN1781@xiaoyu.lan> Hi, LaF0rge and me prepared and packed things today. We somehow need to transport boxes with the dimensions: 1x 80x60x60 cm^3 2x 60x40x40 cm^3 We have a plan (A) for the two smaller boxes but have an issue with the bigger one? Anyone lurking is driving from/via Berlin and can transport the bigger box before the start of the congress? thanks holger From j.frieling at gmx.de Sun Dec 23 17:30:09 2012 From: j.frieling at gmx.de (Jochen Frieling) Date: Sun, 23 Dec 2012 18:30:09 +0100 Subject: Test and Measurement Equipment In-Reply-To: References: <20121220141509.235180@gmx.net> <50D39C04.1070501@gmx.de> Message-ID: <50D73FA1.1050109@gmx.de> > > > And when do you plan to arrive and departure? > > Arrival on 26th around noon and leaving after teardown. > > Great. Will you be at the GSM room? Rest assured that I'll not set up these things in the Lockpicking Area... Joking aside, I've been with the GSM group since Camp 2007 and 25C3, at which the gathering took place at a round table in the hackcenter. But not being an active developer, my role is support staff (hardware, RF technology, test and measurement, delicate soldering) with a very low profile otherwise. Be seeing you, happy holidays! Jochen
