Fabio Pietrosanti (naif) lists at infosecurity.chIt sounds a very reasonable choice to me. That way if a mobile carrier would like to use OpenBSC to provide a GSM service and they modify/improve OpenBSC they need to release the improvement/modifications to their users or commit it back directly to the OpenBSC community. Otherwise it would be possible for a mobile carrier to invest a lot of money into OpenBSC to avoid paying traditional mobile manufacturer (nokia, ericsson, etc, etc) but never givin back the results of the investment to the community.
