The installation script will autodetect python2/python3 and gnuradio-2.7/gnuradio-2.8 but at this point it's not handling gr2.9. The multi_rx.py version of the application now supports radio id tagging (rid-tags.tsv) if that is important to you. Over on RR Forum Max has a thread about the new OP25 Osmocom release that has a new-look GUI and back end logging database. Is that *bunu 18.04 and Raspbian I bet??? > The multi_rx.py version of the application now supports radio id > tagging (rid-tags.tsv) if that is important to you. Is there something that outlines this multi-rx v. rx.py??? I've never touch mutli-rx.py, as never even knew about, most everything lists rx.py... HOWTO etc. on use like I've seen and used for rx.py .... RID tagging would be of interest! Does that RID get passed as metadata for IceCast streams by chance? ? ? > Over on RR Forum Max Well thats great, but like I said, I don't use that site, ever, for anything. Will keep an eye out for an announcement here, interesting, has some pluses feature wise it sounds like, but I need more of run in screen, set and forget it. Evidently the op25 community has congregated on the RR forum, but you say that you refuse to go there, for some unexplained reason, so you want to waste people's time answering questions based on your knowledge that's probably a year or more out of date, where you could just get over your apparent pettiness and read the forum that probably has the answers. ~iain -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The current released version supports GR 3.7 and 3.8, Ubuntu 16.04, 18.04, and 20.04, as well as the R PI (both 3B and 4 have success reports). Inasmuch as the stock version of GR that Ubuntu 20.04 installs is still on GR 3.8, we feel the demand for GR 3.9 (and successor GR versions) may not have reached anywhere near critical mass yet. Could certainly be wrong, but I haven't seen anyone make a good case why OP25-GR 3.9 and/or 3.10 is *necessary* at this time...
