( https://gerrit.osmocom.org/c/osmo-pcu/+/23511 ) Change subject: sba: Document AGCH_START_OFFSET after some experimental tests ...................................................................... Patch Set 2: > Patch Set 2: > > (2 comments) > > As discussed on the call yesterday, the proper way is to report the AGCH queue length to the PCU so the PCU can use this as a factor to compute the starting FN. > > Furthermore, even without the above, this is all (obviously) affected by the fn-advance and rts-advance. So even without any load-based feedback, the fn/rts advance should be taken into account. I think neither of fn/rts advance really affect timing here. * fn-advance is being applied in sync both scheduling CCCH and requesting the Imm ASS to the PCU. * rts-advance is neither affected since the BTS doesn't care about the FN at which the Imm ass is sent to it from the PCU using PCU_IF_SAPI_PCH, it simply queues it with bts_agch_enqueue and schedules it ASAP. So From the point of view of the PCU, the different value in rts-advance in use doesn't matter. -- To view, visit https://gerrit.osmocom.org/c/osmo-pcu/+/23511 To unsubscribe, or for help writing mail filters, visit https://gerrit.osmocom.org/settings Gerrit-Project: osmo-pcu Gerrit-Branch: master Gerrit-Change-Id: Id1460207be25750aeb5c1d7af2fac6591cf5e424 Gerrit-Change-Number: 23511 Gerrit-PatchSet: 2 Gerrit-Owner: pespin <pespin at sysmocom.de> Gerrit-Reviewer: Jenkins Builder Gerrit-Reviewer: fixeria <vyanitskiy at sysmocom.de> Gerrit-Reviewer: laforge <laforge at osmocom.org> Gerrit-Comment-Date: Mon, 29 Mar 2021 08:58:21 +0000 Gerrit-HasComments: No Gerrit-Has-Labels: No Gerrit-MessageType: comment -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
