Thank you Robin for hint.
This is serious reason to use ADF.
I think that a bit possible 2..3dB difference in noises at 0.6MHz ofset isn't big advantage.š
Other hand, I see that HMC has twice lower VCO sensitivity and better noises of dividersšand than a seems a bit better.š
So, I'll try to design both variants on time and then will see.

Best regards,Andrey Sviyazov.

I haven't done a detailed comparison of the specs (I believe that they are similar). The one advantage of the ADF4350 is that there is already UHD support for it since this part is on the WBX and SBX Ettus daughtercards.

Ok. Anyway, it will be much faster then request of samples from Moscow.
Sorry regarding ADF4350 parameters, I mixed up it with ADF4360.
What do you think about ADF4350 and HMC830 differences and usability?
Andrey.

OK, I'll send the chips directly to Andrey. šThe Hittite guy didn't say exactly when he'd have the samples. šThey usually insist on delivering them in person and it may take a week or so before he shows up.

DHL will be faster. But then it's better to ship to your address, as I
will not be in Moscow the whole next week. Send you address to Robin,
plz.
