Yep, GAN = UMA.
I saw that some femto uses it. it mainly encapsulate the L3 messages. So I wanted to be able to decapsulate them, and send them to openbsc in order to get them handled...
any clue on how to do that ? I could provide some pcap if that helps

Hi
What needs to be changed in openbsc in order to add a new input ?
I'm currently developing a GAN protocol stack, and would like to add it to
openbsc so it could deal with the DTAP msg coming from GAN.

Until now I have not heard about GAN. You will find a src/bssap.c in the on-
waves/bsc-master branch. This class is capable of decoding a couple of GSM
08.08 messages (including DTAP). Currently it might be a bit too tied to the
On Waves bsc_master_ip.c file but that can be changed.
