Control channel timeout messages are an indication that you have a weak or fading signal. Use of the constellation pattern makes an excellent tool to visualize signal quality and propagation issues. Don’t overlook correct gain settings for your particular SDR in addition to using the proper antenna necessary to reception of a good signal at your location.
