Your patch looks plausible, but to be sure it really works I have tested it with a sysmoEUICC1-C2T. With this patch, the profile installation fails.
I get the following ErrorResult: bppCommandId: 5, errorReason: 13. This basically means that the eUICC could not load the profile elements due to a data mismatch (see also SGP.22, section 2.5.6)
I strongly recommend to re-test this patch in a manual setup using a test eUICC and lpac to pinpoint what the data mismatch might be. You may have to go through each of the StoreMetadataRequest IEs one by one to pinpoint which one caused the problem.
