    It was so far only used in the old (nowadays unused afaict) osmo-bsc-nat implementation inside openbsc.git.
    It was used in real deployments together with Osmux in satellite setups for a while.

    I'm personally fine with allowing disabling ortp dependency in this case since the change is small and not involving changes in tons of places.
