Sure I can also write most of your patches, but that's not the point right? ;)
lynxis, can you please get that function implemented? It shouldn't be too hard to iterate over the dotted-string and generate the length-prefixed binary format? If there really is an actual problem doing this in TTCN3, I'd love to hear about it (and in the worst case, you can always wrap a C/C++ function, as we do for checksum stuff).
