    I had this problem during development; on my machine, the linter is configured to run for all git repositories. So the script stopped and I had to run it again and wait for several minutes to get to that point.

    But given that I'm refactoring these scripts now (will push the patches soon to gerrit), this won't be an issue. So I'm abandoning the patch.
