    I can't find it right now, but I think the auto configure options were discussed some year back on the mailing list and the conclusion was that this is bad practice as it makes the build less deterministic. This will enable the feature for some people who happen to have libosmo-trx-dev installed, and not for others, who may then see a strange error somewhere down the road when things don't work. Therefore I suggest making "no" (or "yes" if you think it makes more sense) the default.
