    for which jobs does this apply? I think we have to be careful in terms of RAM utilization. So which jobs does it aplpy to? how large are they? how many parallel builders do we have concurrently?

    IMHO for example TTCN-3 jobs are not suitable for tmpfs, as the compiler already needs *massive* amounts of RAM.
