We're (OpenBTS) on it as well. They didn't contact us either. 

I don't think this is a big deal, it's a small workshop and they're just fishing for stuff that points to the type work they want submitted. It's not binding and it doesn't mean there's a session or even an agenda. I bet this happens all the time, and this is just the first one we've had forwarded.

contact with us?  I'm a bit surprised that somebody organizes a workshop
with "our" projects on the agenda without even sending the CfP to us.
Or maybe I just missed it?

In case somebody is submitting a paper there: Please make sure to
coordinate here in order to avoid different developers/contributors from
submitting similar/related topics.
