just a general remark:  Only if you intend to respect the GPL and
release your modified version of the code, you can expect anyone here to
help you in your pursuit of adding new features to OsmocomBB.

The collaborative work is _the_ motivation behind Open Source.  People
who just take and not give back are not generally welcome.

AMR support would most likely be very much appreciated.  It does not
require you to implement anything related to channel coding, it merely
requires you to understand and implement the DSP patch code loading, and
how to configure the AMR related bits in the DSP-ARM API.
