Is it possible to provide a compressed file for every git tag?

This is merely a historical archive of years 2008-2021, before the migration to mailman3.

A maintained and still updated list archive can be found at https://lists.osmocom.org/hyperkitty/list/osmocom-sdr@lists.osmocom.org/.

You could use the git option to not download the whole history. (Can’t remember it’s name.)

The problem is that there's no need to fetch the whole git repository to build a specific tag. As a solution, I propose that compressed files from every tag would be available, like GitHub releases.
