It seems like these need some follow-ups in the debian packaging instructions
-- i.e. update to the new .md suffix or mark as installation (or ignore, but I
guess rather installation) file.

Ah, so when OS#123 appears in the commit log's free text, it isn't linked?
Can we just scan everything for "\<OS#\d+\>"?

All in all these are excellent improvements!
Holger, what's the status of your promise, made one day in a chat, to make
redmine catch the OS#123s?
