you should not use PCAP mode with nanoBTS.  in the case of nanoBTS, it is easy
to start tcpdump or wireshark to capture the IP traffic off the ethernet
interface.

pcap mode of OpenBSC is intended for BS-11 connected to traditional E1
lines.
