the voice transmission is supposed to work.  Sometimes it is unreliable,
terminate the call and call again.  It only works between EFR capable phones,
and only with those that support very early assignment.  I've had good results
with Nokia DCT3 (3310, 3330, etc.) type phones, but lately also got my Motorola
EZX phones to work.

On the other hand, some Motorola P2K (e.g. RAZR) are known to cause problems.
