[op25-dev] Best version of Ubuntu to use for new install of GNU Radio and OP25?

In addition I see that the DVSI VC55 vocoder is supported. If I am successful with installing and getting OP25 working, I am willing to purchase the USB3000 P25 vocoder to assist in testing and coding if I can get help with writing the code for Op25 support. 

The USB3000 P25 OEM version has drivers for Linux and consists of all AMBE and IMBE vocoder combinations for not only P25 but Provoice, DMR, NXDN, etc.
