[op25-dev] Re: Newbie Error question <error: libpcap library not found>

This is merely a historical archive of years 2008-2021, before the migration to mailman3.

A maintained and still updated list archive can be found at https://lists.osmocom.org/hyperkitty/list/op25-dev@lists.osmocom.org/.

Hi,

I recommend reading through the following guide on installing GNU Radio
under Ubuntu:

http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/wiki/UbuntuInstall

however a simpler way is to use the script that has been put together by
Marcus Leech that will automate a lot of this for you.

http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/wiki/InstallingGR#Using-the-build-gnuradio-script

Once you've got a working GNU Radio installation then you can start looking
at the OP25 install process.

Cheers
Richard
