( https://gerrit.osmocom.org/c/osmo-hlr/+/20577 ) Change subject: Set TCP NODELAY sockopt to GSUP cli and srv connections ...................................................................... Patch Set 1: > Patch Set 1: > > shouldnt the underlying IPA server take care of this? See https://osmocom.org/issues/4312?next_issue_id=4310&prev_issue_id=4319#note-1 on how and where it is applied, so no. I think it makes sense to have it this way, to basically allow upper layer protocols to decide whether or not NAGLE algorithm makes sense, based on how the IPA connection is used. One would want for instance to do bulk transfers of data in an IPA conn, and that would not necessarily require NODELAY. -- To view, visit https://gerrit.osmocom.org/c/osmo-hlr/+/20577 To unsubscribe, or for help writing mail filters, visit https://gerrit.osmocom.org/settings Gerrit-Project: osmo-hlr Gerrit-Branch: master Gerrit-Change-Id: I4653b95ef0d4e1184f81f28408e9eb5d665206ec Gerrit-Change-Number: 20577 Gerrit-PatchSet: 1 Gerrit-Owner: pespin <pespin at sysmocom.de> Gerrit-Reviewer: Jenkins Builder Gerrit-CC: laforge <laforge at osmocom.org> Gerrit-Comment-Date: Mon, 12 Oct 2020 15:12:21 +0000 Gerrit-HasComments: No Gerrit-Has-Labels: No Gerrit-MessageType: comment -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
